12/15/2012 AUA SmartForm Redesign Goes Live

The redesigned Animal Use Application SmartForm goes live this Saturday, December 15, in an eBridge production patch. eBridge will be unavailable from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. to initiate the changes. The new design has the same look and feel of the original, but with the following added benefits:

• Combined and/or removed questions to eliminate redundancy
• Reorganization of questions/sections to improve flow
• Division of existing questions, making them shorter and more focused
• New validations to help Study Staff prepare an application for PI review
• New "Help Text"
• Automatic migration of existing data into new SmartForm
