Summary:  Produced by NCHS on a periodic basis, the NNHS is a collection of data on nursing homes, their residents, and their staff. The database is organized into the resident, facility, and expense files and includes data items on demographics, admission date, diagnoses, assistive devices, activities of daily living, services provided, sources of payment, facility bedsize, facility services, facility staff, and expenditures.
