Annual Emergency Medicine  

Research Forum

              This one day event takes place every spring.  An invited speaker presents a current topic in Emergency Medicine.  Faculty, Residents, and Medical Students have a chance to showcase research they have conducted in past year.  The next Research Forum will be held on April 2, 2009. 

            The forum is intended for emergency medicine attendings, fellows, residents, medical students, nurses,  other health care professionals, and researchers. Course objectives include:

• Understanding the results of emergency medicine research investigations
• Acquiring or improving research presentation skills
• Becoming knowledgeable on current research trends in emergency medicine
• Recognizing the importance of and developing an interest in scientific investigations within the field of emergency medicine

           There is no fee to attend the research forum. Registration is on site but please RSVP to Heather Brandenburg.
