The Board of Directors of MCWAH establishes stipends for housestaff. The stipend levels for the academic year beginning July 1, 2013 are:

PGI - $55,250
PGII - $56,250
PGIII - $57,250

Departmental Benefits

The Department of Emergency Medicine provides the following benefits to residents:

    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
    • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • EM2 residents attend the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Conference
  • EM3 residents attend the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) Conference
  • Annual resident retreats
  • Per resident allocated allowance at the beginning of the program.
  • Book and Travel Allowances
    • EM1:  $700 book fund
    • EM2:  $200 book fund, $1,500 travel fund
    • EM3:  $200 book fund, $1,500 travel fund
  • Provided membership
  • Lab coats and Scrubs
