Senior medical students participating in the Resuscitation and Perioperative Medicine learn from simulation on a monthly basis. Students are exposed to critical cases such as ventricular dysrhythmias, acute myocardial infarctions, life-threatening toxic exposures and major traumatic injuries using a high-fidelity human patient simulator. Students then have the opportunities to practice these scenarios in a safe environment without the threat of harm to an actual patient.
