Acute Nurse Practitioner, Diabetes Management Team Masters Degree in Nursing, Marquette University Department of Medicine Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Clinical Nutrition
I earned both my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Nursing from Marquette University.I have been a part of Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin since 1995. The early part of my nursing career was spent working with cardiac and medical patients in the intensive care unit. As a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, I presently work in the Department of Endocrinology, specializing in the care of diabetic patients.
Professional organizations I am involved in include the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Metro Milwaukee Nurse Practitioners' Association and Sigma Theta Tau International. I enjoy gardening, foreign travel, and volunteering my time on medical missionary trips to Haiti. In addition, spending time with my husband and twin sons brings me great joy.
