"Being a physician is a privilege. I value the trust that patients give me. I believe that the physician-patient relationship should be centered on mutual trust and respect. My philosophy is to use my training to provide answers and enhance the quality of my patients' lives. I want my patients to understand my decisions and recommendations so that they can be more involved in their care. "I graduated from medical school at the University of Illinois. I completed my Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison. My Fellowship training in Endocrinology and Diabetes was performed at the University of California, San Francisco. I am board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. "I have a special interest in Cholesterol Disorders, Thyroid Disease and Nodules, Diabetes, Osteoporosis, Hyperparathyroidism, Pituitary Disorders and Adrenal Disorders. "Away from clinic I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, traveling, gardening, golfing, and working on home projects."
