Karen Jacobson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine and her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. Prior to attending physician assistant school, she worked as a diabetes educator in Denver, Colorado. Before moving to Milwaukee, Karen worked for a year as a physician assistant in Urgent Care. Presently, Karen works for the Department of Endocrinology, specializing in outpatient diabetes management. She is board certified and a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, running, Nordic skiing, and baking.
