The Masters of Science in Clinical and Translational Science is designed to provide the education and practical training that are important to planning and conducting clinical and translational research projects in an academic or commercial environment. The program and its curriculum are designed to offer appropriate training to individuals who have established skills and credentials as basic scientists, bioengineers, clinicians, and health care providers (nurses, nutritionists, psychologists, pharmacists, dentists, veterinarians, etc.). To accommodate the broad set of competencies encompassed in “clinical translational” research and to meet the diverse needs of trainees, we are offering the degree with 4 concentrations that utilize a set of core courses.

The on-line Graduate Certificate in Public Health is an academic program for individuals who are starting a career in public health, those who already work in public health, but would like to further their education, or those with with advanced degrees who would like to enhance their knowledge and skills in the core public health disciplines. The program consists of coursework in each of the five major disciplines of public health and offers 15 graduate credits that may be applied toward an MPH degree. The courses include Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health Administration, Environmental Health, and Behavioral Science and Public Health. The program can be completed in one or two years.
