As the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Diversity, I am charged with the oversight of the faculty recruitment, onboarding and promotions processes along with increasing the diversity and overall inclusion among our faculty. Our Office works in collaboration with various faculty groups and committees to further faculty development, mentorship, and vitality opportunities. It is my goal, and the goal of the Office of Faculty Affairs and Diversity, to continuously improve faculty life at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Faculty Employment Coordinator
I work on promotions for faculty members and support the Rank and Tenure Committee. I also help to facilitate the offer process for incoming faculty through providing them with the necessary information and forms for credentialing and liability and answer any questions they may have during their onboarding process. Additionally, I serve as a resource to assist current faculty with any general inquiries or questions.

As the leader for Faculty Affairs, Diversity, and Employment, I am responsible for supporting the full-spectrum of faculty needs to include appointment, promotion, development, advancement and inclusion. In my position, I work closely with campus and community partners to develop strategic relationships in an effort to advance the innovative ideas and actions of faculty leadership groups and promote an environment of inclusion within the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Faculty Employment Assistant
In my role, I assist in facilitating the interview process for Faculty and Senior level staff. I work closely with search committees to develop itineraries and interview evaluations. I assist in coordinating candidate sourcing methods as well as posting of positions. I also assist in the development and research of recruitment best practices to ensure the use of leading edge processes for MCW faculty and senior staff candidates and new hires.

I assist Dr. Walker in his role as the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Diversity. I provide support in the recruitment of new faculty, help with the coordination and administration of several faculty awards, provide administrative support for the Faculty Council and Faculty Council sub-committees, and the Women's Faculty Council. I also serve as a resource to assist current faculty with any general inquiries or questions.

As Manager of Faculty Affairs, I manage the day to day operations of the Office, which includes the faculty offer and promotion process, data requests, and faculty development initiatives. I also serve as a resource to departments in the recruitment and onboarding of faculty, assisting search committees, and providing best practice tools and information. The Office of Faculty Affairs also supports many of the faculty committees, projects, and initiatives.
