The mission of the Firearm Injury Center is to reduce firearm and violence-related injuries and deaths.
The Center collaborates with policy makers, community organizations, academic partners and individuals at local, regional and national levels to develop and evaluate effective violence prevention strategies. The Center seeks to translate research outcomes into practice and widely disseminate comprehensive, accurate violence-related information and analyses.
