16th Annual Liver Disease Update

The Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology will be hosting 16th Annual Liver Disease Update at the Sheraton Hotel, Brookfield, WI.
The event is intended for gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, internists and family physicians, as well as physician assistants and nurses. Upon completion of the course participants should:
Be able to recognize common liver problems encountered in general practice
Become familiar with the standard of care in patients with liver disease
Be able to recognize advanced liver disease and when consultation with a hepatologist should be considered
Registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 7:00am, welcoming remarks are at 8:00am and the course will end around 4:00pm. Participants will received breakfast, lunch, course materials and CME credits.
Jose Franco, MD, Professor of Medicine and the Director of Hepatology in the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology is the course director.
