"State of Gut" - An Update on Gastrointestinal Disorders

The Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology will be hosting an update conference on the state of the gut on Friday, September 27, 2013. The purpose of this update is to share the most recent developments in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases.
The event is intended for gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, internists and family physicians, as well as physician assistants and nurses. Upon completion of the course participants should:
Review the clinical presentation of common gastrointestinal and liver disorders
Discuss diagnostic testing used in evaluating patients with gastrointestinal and liver disorders
Familiarize oneself with standard of care treatments for common gastrointestinal and liver disorders
Registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 7:00am, welcoming remarks are at 8:00am and the course will end around 4:00pm. Participants will received breakfast, lunch, course materials and CME credits.
Jose Franco, MD, Professor of Medicine and the Director of Hepatology in the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology is the course director.
The cost is $100 for physicians and $50 for residents, fellows, physician assistants and nurses. Froedtert and The Medical College of Wisconsin employees may attend at no cost.
