Financial Information

Tuition
A full-time student must either receive a scholarship or pay tuition at the time of registration in the fall and at the time of second semester registration. A non-degree seeker or part-time student also must pay tuition at the time of registration; the amount of the tuition depends upon the number of credits to be taken during the semester or session. All full- time students will be charged student and activity fees. Increases in tuition should be anticipated as a result of rising costs.

Financial Assistance
Scholarships, fellowships and research assistantships are offered to all full-time PhD-seeking graduate students. These are awarded by the individual degree-granting programs or by the Graduate School. Graduate students who are enrolled full-time; are U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents; and who demonstrate financial need are eligible to receive loans through the Federal Family Education Loan Program administered by banks and savings and loan organizations. Students interested in obtaining loan assistance should request an application packet from the Office of Student Financial Services. Additional information about all loan programs is available upon request from the Office of Student Financial Services, (414-955-8208). Information can also be obtained from the Financial Aid Office.

Academic Transcripts
Students may request official copies of their Graduate School academic transcripts to be sent to designated individuals or organizations (other than themselves) by providing a signed request form with the appropriate fee to the Graduate School office. Students can print a copy of their academic record via secured access in EASI.

Fees for official transcripts are as follows:

  • $5.00 per official transcript for graduated and currently enrolled students

  • Rush Transcript $10.00 for 24-hour turnaround

  • Federal Express fee for overnight delivery within the United States $25.00

If a student or former student has outstanding obligations to the Medical College, release of the official records will be withheld until the obligations are paid.
