Certificate-Seeking Applicants

Applicants may be permitted to enroll as a certificate-seeking student. Certificate seekers should check the credit and course requirements specific to the certificate program of interest. A maximum of two years is granted for certificate completion. Transfer of appropriate credits from a certificate program into a degree program is automatic if matriculation in the degree program occurs within one year of completion of the certificate program.

Certificate Seekers must have on file the following before they can be considered for admission:

• A completed Certificate Seeking Application
   
• Official transcripts of all previously attended undergraduate or higher academic institutions must be sent directly to the Registrar of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences
   
• The required two letters of recommendation for Bioethics certificate programs or required three letters of recommendation for Public Health certificate program, along with recommendation forms for each recommendation letter
   
• Application fee $50.00.
