Graduation Regalia
Caps, gowns and hoods have been rented for each graduate.  Regalia may be picked up from the Graduate School Office (M1420) in early May.  Graduates will be notified by email with details for regalia pick up.  Regalia will need to be pressed or hung up to get rid of wrinkles.  For those who are out of town and unable to pick up their regalia, please notify the Graduate School office at 414-955-8218 to make arrangements.

All regalia must be returned on the day of commencement upon the completion of the commencement ceremony.  All graduates retain their tassel, while PhD graduates also keep their hoods to wear throughout their lifetime whenever involved in academic ceremonies.

Note: Business attire is expected for all graduates throughout all festivities.  Jeans, pajamas, flip flops and other leisure wear is not appropriate.

Announcements
Graduates will receive important information via their MCW email accounts as graduation preparations are being made during the next several months.

Photographs
Graduates are encouraged to take photos in their regalia before the ceremony.  Parents and friends are not allowed to move within the graduate seating section of the theater to take photos of the ceremony.  A professional photographer will take individual photos of each graduate as the diploma is received, and upon exiting the stage.  Graduates will be provided proofs and given the opportunity to purchase the professional photos in June, at a nominal cost.

Additionally, the Graduate School provides an opportunity for family photographs immediately following the ceremony, prior to returning the regalia.
