Applications remain on file for three (3) years. Applicants who have either withdrawn their application or were rejected for admission within that period may request that their retained application be reconsidered (re-activated) for the next admission cycle. The request for re-activation must be in writing and should be submitted to the Graduate School.
If the applicant would like to add supporting materials or update the application in any way, a new application fee of $50 is required. It is in the applicant’s best interest to update the application and, if relevant, include information on what the applicant has done during the past year. New letters of recommendation may also help if authored by a recent supervisor who can address the applicant’s improved preparedness for the degree program of interest.
In general, applicants to a graduate program at MCW are only accepted upon completion of the degree program in which they are currently matriculated. In special circumstances students may apply for transfer into graduate programs at MCW after having only partially completed requirements for a graduate degree at another university. Transfer will be considered upon recommendation of the MCW graduate program if the following conditions are met:
