4th Funding Cycle

Awards totaling $6,368,224 for 24 community-academic partnerships were announced on March 28, 2008. 48 Impact proposals and 38 Development proposals were submitted and advanced to the National Merit Reviewers. After careful consideration, the MCW Consortium on Public and Community Health has approved funding for 13 Impact projects and 11 Development projects.

Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Five-Year Plan

The Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program is one of three complementary components of the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin (AHW) endowment of the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) committed to improving the health of Wisconsin residents. MCW has developed several opportunities for you to provide input to help inform and shape the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin 2009-2014 strategic planning process.

102 Funded Projects

Through four separate funding cycles, the Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program has awarded $23,449,777 to 102 community-academic partnerships committed to improving the health of Wisconsin residents. Each funded partnership consists of at least one community organization and one academic partner from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
