    Barron County Fall Prevention Project

    Project Goal Statement: This project aims to build capacity and strengthen systems by fostering collaboration to address fall prevention among rural seniors aged 75 and older.  The project will establish a screening system for elderly Barron County residents; those at high risk will participate in fall prevention interventions tailored to their particular risk factors.  Interventions include home hazard assessment, balance training and medication consultation.
