A School-Based Intervention to Increase African-Americans and Latinos in Health Professions

    Project Overview

    4th Funding Cycle Development Award
         Project Start Date: 10/1/2008
         Project End Date: 6/30/2009

Project Goal Statement: Little is known regarding effective interventions for increasing the numbers of Latino and African-American (AA) health professionals; we hypothesize that AA and Latino middle school students' interest in the health professions will increase following a school-based intervention.
