The Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program (HWPP) is a components of the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin (AHW) endowment at the Medical College of Wisconsin. The AHW endowment operates under a Five-Year Plan that provides a strategic framework for use of the funds.
This broad framework is designed to recognize the critical role HWPP serves in striving for the vision of improving health for the people of Wisconsin.
The document links below provide the first approved Five-Year Plan prepared by the Medical College of Wisconsin and the MCW Consortium on Public and Community Health for the period of 2003-2008. This plan guides the use of the Blue Cross Blue Shield conversion funds endowed at the Medical College of Wisconsin. The section of the plan titled "MCW Public and Community Health Partnerships" provides the original plan framework for the component that has become known as the Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program.
