Community Engagement for Health Conference 2010

The Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program, in conjunction with the Clinical and Translational Science Institute of Southeast Wisconsin, hosted the Community Engagement for Health Conference 2010 on October 26, 2010.  With a focus on transformation through partnerships, the conference highlighted the power of partnerships to lead and inspire transformation at all levels, including personal, interpersonal, organizational, institutional and societal transformation.

Conference goals included:

• Building the capacity of communities and institutions to engage in authentic partnerships
• Demonstrating the power of community-academic partnerships to transform at all levels
• Providing a dynamic and interactive forum to network, share information and build skills
• Celebrating and recognizing the accomplishments of community-academic partnerships
