The Medical College of Wisconsin offers its employees a competitive and comprehensive benefit package as outlined in the overview below: 

Health Insurance:

A comprehensive PPO plan design provides eligible employees and their families with extensive medical and prescription drug coverage and allows an employee to choose their provider. In-network choices will maximize your savings and reduce your out-of-pocket costs.

 

Dental Insurance:

Comprehensive dental coverage is available to eligible employees. The PPO plan design allows eligible employees and their families to select the dentist of their choice. In-network choices will maximize your savings and reduce your out-of-pocket costs.

 

Vision Insurance:

Materials only plan covers items such as frames and lenses as well as contact lenses.  Eye exams are covered under the health plan.  Coverage levels are greater when a PPO provider is utilized.

 

Life Insurance:

Eligible employees are automatically enrolled in company-paid life insurance. Additional life insurance coverage can be purchased for the employee, spouse, and eligible dependents at affordable rates.

 

403(b) Retirement Plan:

Employees are eligible for the mandatory 403(b) retirement plan after two years of service and 21 years of age. Once eligible, employees are 100% vested and are required to contribute 6% of their salary to the plan and receive a very generous company match. A variety of investment options allows you to create a personalized plan to meet your retirement goals. In addition, a voluntary 403(b) plan is also available.

 

Vacation:

The Medical College of Wisconsin recognizes that a balanced work life is important. Vacation is accrued based on length of service and employee classification.

 

Holidays & Floating Holidays:

The Medical College of Wisconsin observes eight national holidays. Floating holidays give you the flexibility to use time off as you choose. Employees are awarded two floating holidays per calendar year.

 

Sick Leave:

Sick pay is accrued based on length of service and employee classification. 

 

Short & Long Term Disability:

Eligible employees are automatically enrolled in company-paid disability plans that replace part of your pay if a qualifying disability occurs.

 

Tuition Reimbursement:

The Medical College of Wisconsin supports continuing education for its employees. The program allows eligible employees to take approved, work-related courses and receive up to $2,550 reimbursement per year for undergraduate and graduate courses.

 

Dependent Care Reimbursement:

The Dependent Care Reimbursement account allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for dependent care expenses up to $5000 per family per calendar year. 

 

Health Care Spending Account:

The Health Care Spending account allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible health care expenses up to $3000 per calendar year.
