When writing an obituary, important information to include: "In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to support {optional designation} research can be made to the Medical College of Wisconsin, Attn: Office of Development, 8701 Watertown Plank Rd. or P.O. Box 26509, Milwaukee, WI 53226-0509. Memorial gifts may also be made online at https://secure.mcw.edu (please indicate in the "Comment" section the gift is designated to {optional designation} research.)"
Memorial gift envelopes are also available. Please call Eileen at (414) 955-4716 and she can furnish a supply to the funeral home of your choice in advance of the memorial service.
All donors are receipted and acknowledged.
Every week the spouse or family of the deceased will be provided with the names and addresses of the donors who have chosen to provide a gift in his/her memory. Please alert the Medical College of Wisconsin to the name and address of the family or friend of the deceased which should be notified of the memorial gifts.
