Patient Care

Medical College of Wisconsin infectious disease specialists provide inpatient and outpatient consultative services for the diagnosis and management of complex infectious diseases and unexplained febrile illnesses. The Froedtert outpatient Infectious Diseases clinic is located on the fourth floor of the Froedtert East Clinic building. In addition, there is a clinic at Zablocki VA Medical Center that provides care for veterans with infectious diseases. Both clinics are devoted to HIV/AIDS patient care in addition to treatment of general infectious diseases including, but not limited to, bacterial infections, endocarditis, fevers of unknown origin, osteomyelitis, parasitic and tropical infections, fungal and mycobacterial infections, prosthetic joint infections, and follow-up of hospital in-patients.

In addition, physicians from the Medical College of Wisconsin staff the clinic at the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin and provide comprehensive care to patients with HIV in Milwaukee and Kenosha.
