Password Reset

Requirements

You will need the following information:

• Your username
• Your current password
• A new password

Password Change Process

1. Log into MCW's Outlook Web Access (OWA) site:  http://owamail.mcw.edu.
2. In the upper right corner, select Options.
3. In the left navigation bar, select Change Password.
4. Complete the fields as requested.  Click on Save.
   1. After saving, you may need to re-enter your credentials to log on again.

Never Give Out Your Password!  MCW-IS will NEVER ask for your password.  MCW's Information Systems Usage Policy (IT.IS.010) states:

Each College faculty and staff or agent with access to data is issued a user ID and a user password, and each individual is responsible for maintaining confidentiality consistent with the policies of the College.  Policy forbids disclosing your password to anyone.  The owner of the password is responsible for all activities performed under the password, following Wisconsin Statutes Section 943.70 (2).

In addition, the password owner is personally liable under any regulatory agency rules of enforcement, including civil financial penalties and/or incarceration, as administered by the ruling agency.
