Board of Trustees Biographies:
Edward J. Zore
Edward J. Zore is the retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Northwestern Mutual, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, following a 41-year career with the company.
He is actively involved in the Milwaukee community. Mr. Zore is Past Chairman of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Inc., the Greater Milwaukee Committee, the United Way of Greater Milwaukee, and the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee. He currently serves on the board of the Wisconsin Policy Research Institute and is a past board member of Froedtert Hospital.
Mr. Zore is a former chairman of the board of the American Council of Life Insurers and an honorary board member of the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation. He is also an advisory board member of the Millstein Center for Corporate Governance and Performance at the Yale School of Management. Mr. Zore is a director of Manpower, Inc. and Renaissance Re Holdings Ltd.
Mr. Zore earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
