Where can visitors to the MCW Libraries park?
Visitors to the MCW Libraries can park in the Visitor’s Lot for free on an as-available basis. (The lot may be full or reserved if there’s a special event.) The Visitor’s Lot is across 87th Street from the Health Research Center of the Medical College in which the Todd Wehr Library is located. (See the MCW Campus Map.) If you are going to the library on a weekday before 4 p.m., tell the attendant on duty that you are visiting the library (or use the intercom if no attendant is available). After 4 p.m. and on weekends, the gates to the Visitor’s Lot will be open.
How can I access MCW Libraries databases and electronic journals from home?
Users can choose the Proxy Server as the way to access databases and electronic journals from off-campus. MCW faculty, staff, and students are eligible for this service; select other users (including volunteer clinical faculty and Blood Research Institute staff) may be able to apply for access. Please see our Connect from Off Campus to MCW Libraries page for more information and options.
Can I request an item owned by the MCW Libraries without coming to the library?
Yes, the Medical College of Wisconsin Libraries provides document delivery service to Medical College of Wisconsin, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and Froedtert Hospital faculty, staff, and students. To learn more about this service, visit our Document Delivery and our Library on Request Web pages.
How can I request items not owned by the MCW Libraries?

Who do I contact if I need help with the learning management system (ANGEL or Desire2Learn/D2L)?

I’m located at the VA and I’m having trouble accessing MCW Libraries resources. What’s wrong?
Some MCW faculty, staff, residents and students located at the VA can access MCW Libraries resources directly. For those who can’t, use the library’s proxy server at proxy.lib.mcw.edu. A Remote Access Account is required. Please see our Connect from Off Campus to MCW Libraries page for more information.
