Funding Alert Service Team (FAST): Linking Faculty to Grant Opportunities
With literally hundreds of funding sources with thousands of individual programs and opportunities, determining which of these sources are appropriate for faculty projects can be a daunting task that demands a variety of approaches.
In an effort to assist faculty in advancing research, funding search services are being offered by MCW Libraries and the Office of Research in partnership with the Office of Development to alert faculty to potential funding opportunities.
Option 1: Funding Alert Service
Faculty may complete a Search Request Form. MCW Libraries will complete a search of funding sources and e-mail you a list of the resulting opportunities. MCW Libraries can also e-mail new results on a weekly basis if requested.
Option 2: Conduct Your Own Search
The Office of Research provides a comprehensive list of links to internal and external sources of funding that you can search. The resources include COS, Foundation Directory Online, Grants.gov, and NIH RePORTER.
Per MCW policy, all faculty and staff must work through the Office of Development before approaching or responding to private foundations for funding. Please contact the Office of Development at (414) 955-4739 with questions.
