On Monday, October 1, 2012, MCW Libraries became aware that Froedtert Health Information Technology instituted some changes with Froedtert network security during the week of September 24th. This change has interrupted access to MCW Libraries’ resources from computers affected by the Froedtert network security change.
Problems that indicate that a computer is affected include being asked for a logon username and password and error messages like “wrong IP address.” Major resources like Ovid, CINAHL, and DynaMed have been fixed. Other resources such as individual journals might still be affected.
The library has worked with Froedtert Health IT to solve the access problems. Testing has shown the fix has worked and we believe that Froedtert users should be able to continue accessing MCW Libraries' resources as usual. We thank you for your patience during the down time.
