MCW Libraries' Resource of the Month - February 2013

Books@Ovid is a collection of 138 clinical textbooks in electronic format on the OvidSP search platform.  Thirty new titles have been recently added, including titles with MCW faculty as contributors.  The collection covers a variety of clinical topics including medicine, gynecology, nursing, pediatrics and pain management. 

Features:

• Browse by individual topic or book title! 
• Search the whole collection by subject, using the Quick Search option. 
• Books in the collection include all illustrations, tables and photos that are in the print editions.
• If available in the MCW Libraries electronic journal collection, journal articles references in the books link directly to the full text.

Accessing Books@Ovid:

• Listed on the Libraries' All E-Resources page.
• Links for all book titles are also located in MCWCAT, the Libraries' online catalog.
• Available from remote locations via the proxy server.
• The collection is compatible with some mobile devices.
