Changes to PubMed/Ovid Training Coming in 2014
Dec. 12, 2013 - The MCW Libraries' regular classes will be evolving in 2014! The most visible change will be that we will no longer be offering the monthly "PubMed Basics" and "Searching Ovid" classes, and we will only only be offering the "RefWorks Fundamentals" and "Finding Grant Dollar$" classes quarterly. The primary reason for this change is to have time available to meet the requests for teaching personalized one-on-one sessions, as well as for scheduling small- and large-group classes for specific departments.
We will also be offering regular "one-off" classes on special topics. These topics may include "iPads 101," Google Scholar, Yammer, specific databases (such as VisualDx), etc. If you have a suggestion for a special topic class, please contact us at email@example.com or (414) 955-8302.
Please note, our final PubMed and Ovid classes will be held:
