Journal Citation Reports: MCW Libraries' Resource of the Month

Which journal should you publish in?  Journal Citation Reports may help you decide by evaluating and comparing journals using citation data from over 11,000 scholarly and technical journals. 

With JCR you can find:

• Most frequently cited journals in a field
• Highest impact journals in a field
• Number of published articles in a field

Journal data includes:

Total cites, impact factor, 5 year impact factor, immediacy index, number of articles, cited half life and Eigenfactor Metrics.

Journal Citation Reports is part of the Web of Knowledge suite of databases and is available from the MCW Libraries’ All E-Resources web page.
