Journal Citation Reports to be Released July 29
July 14, 2014 - Journal Citation Reports (JCR) is a resource that allows you to evaluate and compare journals using citation data drawn from almost 11,000 scholarly and technical journals from nearly 2,500 publishers in over 80 countries. It includes virtually all areas of the sciences. Journal Citation Reports can show you the:
- Most frequently cited journals in a field
- Highest impact journals in a field
- Largest journals in a field
Citation and article counts are indicators of how frequently current researchers are using individual journals. The 2013 citation data will be available as the 2014 Release of Journal Citation Reports on July 29, 2014. The release of the new JCR is generally in late June or early July, but it is being delayed by the vendor this year.
You can access the latest version of the JCR from MCW Libraries All E-Resources Web page. If you have any questions, please contact the MCW Libraries at firstname.lastname@example.org or (414) 955-8302.
