JoVE-the Journal of Visualized Experiments is a video journal for biological, medical and other research which is indexed in PubMed/Medline. JoVE is peer reviewed. MCW Libraries has a subscription to JoVE General which is one of six sections of this journal. JoVE publishes peer-reviewed video-articles documenting techniques and protocols in biological, medical, chemical, and physical research. Videos are generally between 10-15 minutes long and provide a detailed step-by-step description of the protocol to enable another scientist to easily reproduce the technique.
