On June 30, the Ovid Personal Logins will be replaced with a new system called “Personal Accounts.” All users with Personal Logins were sent an email dated June 9 which explains the transition and the action required by account holders. The new system called “Personal Accounts,” whereby users will be able to create new accounts with no assistance from MCW Libraries. All your saved searches and automatic email alerts under your Personal Login can be transferred to your Personal Account. However, action is required on your part to transfer the saved searches and email alerts to your new Personal Account. After June 30, you will go directly to the Ovid search interface where you can create a new Personal Account. Once you have created a Personal Account, contact us for assistance to transfer your saved items. To view your saved searches under the old system, go to http://ovidsp.ovid.com/ and log in with your old Personal Login info. ***If you do not have any saved searches under your Ovid Personal Login or you no longer need your saved searches, simply create a new Personal Account on the Ovid web site (see Step #1). Please reply to this email if you no longer need your Personal Login.
