DynaMed PDA Serial Numbers valid for one year
Your DynaMed PDA serial number is valid for only one year. After one year you will see a subscription expiration notice when you open DynaMed on your PDA. The DynaMed database will still work, but it will not be updated. To continue to receive new updates of DynaMed for your PDA, you must call the MCW Libraries for a new serial number. In order to add that new serial number to your PDA, you unfortunately must download the DynaMed program once again to your PDA. DynaMed is aware of this inconvenience and is working on a better solution.

PDA applications and Windows Vista
Many Palm® OS and Windows Mobile® (Pocket PC) OS software applications (including Epocrates) may not install or sync via computers with the new Windows Vista operating system. The solution to this problem depends upon software changes by Palm and Microsoft, and there is no firm date for a fix to this problem.
You may want to postpone installing or upgrading to a new PC with Windows Vista installed.
MCW Libraries is not upgrading to Windows Vista at this time, so you will still be able to load programs and sync your Palm TX PDAs at the MCW Libraries.
