Other ways to connect from off campus
1) MCW Network
If you are at the Medical College, Children's or Froedtert, no additional steps are necessary to access library resources. Medical College faculty and staff located at the VA who are not on the MCW network need to use the library's proxy server (see instructions below for external Internet providers).
2) External Internet Service Providers
Many library resources are restricted to the MCW Network address. If you are using a high-speed connection such as Road Runner, or you are connecting from the VA network, and wish to use library resources you will need to use the library's proxy server.
Users on the MCW secured network may be eligible for a Citrix account. See your department administrator. Client download is required. For more information, visit the Information Services Web site. (Additional information is also available on the MCW Infoscope intranet, on the Information Services' "Support"page.)
