The Global Health Pathway is designed for students interested in understanding the special healthcare needs of patients in or from developing countries, and the challenges of working in areas of the world with limited resources. Core curriculum topics are consistent with those proposed by U.S. national organizations that have long been on the forefront of global health education and research. The curriculum will highlight the special expertise and experiences of MCW faculty and staff in the broad field of global health. Pathway activities are coordinated with the office of the Associate Dean for Global Health. Opportunities for local and international clinical, research or service learning experiences are available.
