Candidates for admission to graduate studies in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics are strongly encouraged to apply by February 15.
Applicants are evaluated by three criteria: (i) performance in undergraduate studies; the successful applicant will have completed an undergraduate curriculum including chemistry, physics, math, and biology and have achieved at least a B average; (ii) satisfactory scores on the general GRE, which is required; and (iii) letters of reference.
