Next Graduation - Friday, May 21st, 2010
A formal graduation ceremony will be held at The Milwaukee Theatre, 400-500 W. Kilbourn Avenue, promptly at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2010.
While the Visitor Bureau indicates there is not a large convention that weekend, many of the area colleges and universities (Marquette, UW-Milwaukee, MSOE, Alverno, Cardinal Stritch) have graduation the same weekend.
On weekdays, Mitchell International airport is about 30 minutes from the Milwaukee Theatre area. The following is a list of hotels fairly close to The Milwaukee Theatre:

Timeline of Events
The Graduate School holds a commencement luncheon for graduates, their families, friends and the graduate's advisor. The graduates will be invited to attend with one guest and his/her advisor at no cost. Others may attend at their own expense. The Graduate School will be sending invitations for the luncheon.
Following the luncheon, graduates will collect and don their regalia before the ceremony:
2:00 pm - Robing. All graduates are expected to be in the robing area at this time. This allows us to not only confirm attendance but also to ensure that your graduation regalia fits.
2:30 pm - Line up. All graduates will begin lining up alphabetically by degree. This will ensure that you receive your degree.
3:00 pm - Processional starts. Ceremony begins.
5:30 pm - Ceremony ends. Graduates will return regalia to the robing area and may leave. Congratulations!
