ANGEL

A New Global Environment for Learning (ANGEL) is a College-wide learning management system that allows for students and faculty to connect online. ANGEL serves as a portal to all aspects of the College's e-learning environment, allowing access from anywhere in the world.

Facebook

The MPH program is on Facebook.  Become a fan, and interact with fellow students as well as staff, faculty, and alumni.  Even if you do not have a personal Facebook page or login, you can view the MPH program's page to find out what is new in the field of public health and with the program.

Continuing Education

Opportunities include online seminar series, in-person seminar series (in Milwaukee, WI), meetings and conferences, and other resources.

Library

Students in the Master of Public Health program have access to strong existing public health holdings that are housed in the libraries as well as in other resource centers on campus. In addition, students may use UWM’s library (through the Cooperative Access Program) and all libraries affiliated with the University of Wisconsin System.

*Students may remotely access library resources, including thousands of online journals.  Contact an MPH Program Coordinator for more information.

EASI

Electronic Access to Student Information (EASI) is an online system used by students to register for courses, view their academic records, and update their contact information.

Epidemiology Data Resource Center

Primary among the services provided by The Epidemiology Data Resource Center (EDRC) is to act as a resource of epidemiological and other health data for MCW and MCW-affiliated researchers.

Public Safety

MCW Public Safety is fully committed to ensuring a safe and secure campus environment.

All public health students are required to utilize their MCW email account and may not forward their email to an outside account.

Writing Tutorial

Intended to aid public health students in writing papers for coursework at the Medical College, presentations include Writing 101, The Pre-Writing Stage, General Components of a Paper, and PowerPoint Presentation Guidelines.
