The MSTP holds an outdoor picnic each summer to welcome the incoming students to the group. The picnic is a great opportunity for new students to get to know the current students in the program. Spouses, significant others, and children are all invited to the event. The picnic fosters friendship and camaraderie within the group, and is a great chance for students and faculty to relax and socialize with each other.
