Curriculum for Pediatric Neurology Fellows

Duration:   3 Years

12 Months of clinical Pediatric Neurology

12 Months of clinical Adult Neurology

• Consists of VA Spinal Cord (1 month), VA Consult (1 month), FMLH Consults (1 month), FMLH Wards (1 month), FMLH NICU (1 month), FMLH NV (1 month), FMLH EMU (1 month), FMLH Specialty Clinic (1 month)

Mandatory Rotations:

Basic Sciences:

• Neurophysiology                                       CHW                                       3 Months

  • (1 ½ Months EMG, 1 ½ Months EEG)

• Neuropathology                                        FMLH                                      1 Month

Related Sciences Rotations:

• Neurosurgery                                            CHW                                      1 Month

• Neuroradiology                                         CHW                                      1 Month

• Child Psychiatry                                        CHW                                      1 Month

• Rehabilitation                                            CHW                                      1 Month

Electives:

             The child neurology fellow will have three months of electives in the final year of training.

Additional Rotations:

• Neuro-Ophthalmology                                FMLH                                     2 weeks
