Program At A Glance

Prerequisites for Appointment into Child Neurology Fellowship Program:

1.  Candidates must hold the MD Degree or accepted equivalent:
   1. US or Canadian medical school graduates must have passed NBOME I or USMLE I
   2. Graduates of Osteopathic schools must have passed NBOME I or USMLE I
   3. International graduates must have a current ECFMG certificate

2. Candidates must have completed 2 years of post-graduate training in a Pediatric program in the United States at an ACGME accredited program

3. Candidates must be eligible for a Wisconsin Medical License

4. Candidates must register and apply to the Child Neurology Program through  the ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) and NRMP (National Resident Matching Program) to be consider qualified applicants to the Child Neurology Fellowship Program

5. Candidates must successfully complete a personal interview

Pediatric Neurology Faculty

There are 4 child neurologists and 1 instructor in the Division of Pediatric Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin that are each fully involved with the residency and fellowship programs.  As a group, we have favored a collegial, informal- rather than authoritarian and rigidly structured – manner of pursuing a high level of quality in our education, academic and clinical practice endeavors.
