Assistant Professor of Neurology

Specialty: Neuropsychology

Sub-Specialty:

Education:

  • PhD, Finch University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School

Training:

  • Internship, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New York, 2002-2003
  • Postdoctoral Fellowship, Medical College of Wisconsin, 2003-2005

Brief Clinical/Research Interest Statement:

Dr. Sabsevitz specializes in the evaluation and treatment of adults with neurological, behavioral, and developmental disorders. He is the director of the Neuropsychology Brain Tumor Clinic and specializes in the evaluation of patients with CNS and systemic cancer. His current research involves examining the effects of whole brain and focal radiation on cognition and brain morphometry in brain tumor patients using standard and advanced imaging methods (e.g., diffusion tensor imaging), and examining the clinical utility of fMRI in the presurgical evaluation of epilepsy patients.
