Brief Clinical/Research Statement:

My research is concerned with understanding neural underpinnings of various aspects of language and speech. We have addressed questions such as "How is word meaning represented in the brain," and "Does the sensory modality through which meaning is acquired play a role in its representation?" I am also interested in studying neural correlates of speech perception, and in developing computational models of mental processes.
