Residency Program

Neurology is a unique medical specialty that requires motivated, dedicated physicians. We've built our Neurology Residency Program to encourage such physicians, focusing on the resident's needs:

  • A strong clinical teaching program that fosters close working relationships between Attending Physicians and Residents.
  • Exposure to a broad range of neurologic conditions, including cerebrovascular disease, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuro-oncology, cognitive disorders, neuro-opthalmology, neuromuscular disease, and epilepsy management.
  • An integrated Neuroscience Center, connecting you to experts in Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, Neuropsychiatry, Physiatry, Internal Medicine and Psychiatry.
  • Opportunity for clinical or basic research.
  • Training on the business and financial aspects of health care delivery.
  • Medicine-Neurology combined residency program, with eligibility for board certification in both Internal Medicine and Neurology after a 5-year training program.

You will be guided by physicians, nationally and internationally, recognized as medical innovators.  As one of our trainees, you will benefit from the support of a close-knit, caring group.

Medical College of Wisconsin is proud to offer a stimulating, well-rounded residency program. We invite you to contact us and we'd be pleased to have you visit us.
