"Our lab is interested in central chemoreception and it's role in respiratory control and homeostasis. We are especially interested in the changes that can occur in the chemosensitive nuclei within the brainstem and how that relates to SIDS, sleep apnea, congenital central hypoventilation syndrome, and COPD."
