Clinical Practice:

Dr. Kaufman is the Chief of Pediatric neurosurgery at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. He leads a highly qualified team of pediatric neurosurgical providers, all with special expertise in pediatric neurosurgery. He is board certified in Neurosurgery and Pediatric Neurosurgery, and has held leadership positions in the major Pediatric Neurosurgical organizations in North America. His clinical interests are in pediatric brain tumors, spinal dysraphism, and the surgical treatments of spasticity. He has also authored many journal articles and chapters, and remains actively involved in clinical research and outcomes involving hydrocephalus, Chiari malformations, and spasticity.
